Building CRM knowledge and earn credentials

Good morning fellow bloggers, Sophie back once again and for this week’s blog, I completed 3 short modules on Trailhead and I will summarise my learnings of the three modules below.

1.     Get to know marketing AI

The first module I completed was ‘Get to know marketing AI’ which I found particularly interesting as it gave me a good insight into what marketing AI is and how it s now the number one marketing tool featuring new GPT capabilities and seems to be the future of marketing with its artificial intelligence, its capabilities include content creation, scaling AI and trust. Marketing AI gives companies trust by using its powerful tool of AI to expand marketing strategies quickly and efficiently. I really enjoyed reading the material in this module and from my knowledge with the reading, I earned 150 points from the MCQ at the end of the module.

2.     Roles and Responsibilities for Marketing Teams

The second module I completed was ‘Roles and Responsibilities for Marketing Teams’ which was interesting to me personally as I read the article on three parts: ‘build a marketing team, define roles and responsibilities and grow your team’. I found the first part of build a marketing team the most interesting due to learning about the five tasks groups involved with digital marketing which include:

·       Strategy and Planning

·       Data and Analytics

·       Creative and Content

·       Campaign Operations

·       Marketing Technology

From reading the five tasks group, I learned that with Data and Analytics, a marketing teams needs to have a member that ‘loves or likes’ working with data as knowing what to do with data is a great approach for firms as they would need to be familiar with all data analysis tools. I learned a lot from that module and it has really benefited my knowledge further in this area.

3.     ‘Time Management for Sales Teams’

The third module I completed a two-section module on Trailhead was ‘Time Management for Sales Teams’ and I learned about how to spend your time wisely when it comes to time management with tasks and goals that need to be completed. I read that making a list of things to do for the day is efficient as we can forget things and by having it written down, we are most likely going to do it. A time audit is the best approach as this tactic which is when you keep a detailed log of everything do for a week.

In the second section, I learned about time management techniques about how to boost productivity with objectives to be completed. The best way to keep up with emails for example, is to create a shortcut so that any unnecessary junk emails go straight to a different folder and that important emails go straight to inbox so that you aren’t overwhelmed with hundreds of unnecessary emails a day and that there are limited emails to sort out by an individual. I think that this a great approach for someone doing tasks with technology. I really enjoyed reading this module as I enhanced some great tips for the future if I approach a career in the technology pathway.

Overall after completing the three modules, the module that I learned the most from was Roles and Responsibilities for marketing teams as I got to learn about the five task groups and how each one works differently. This really caught my attention and I learned a lot of new information due to the module. I am glad that I got to complete the module and I will definitely be completing more of these modules in the near future. I gained 600 points when achieving the modules and I also earned 4 badges from the overall result.

That is all I have for this week unfortunately...I will be back again this day next week for an exciting blog for my fellow bloggers. See you then!

    1. I learned the most from the module called 'Roles and Responsibilities for Marketing Teams' as it was extremely interesting to gain new knowledge of the five task groups and the role of each one. I also learned how employees working in the Data industry need to have a passion and interest in Data Tools as it is more efficient for the firm to gain success. I will complete more modules on Trailhead in the future!
